The Firm
An investment firm built by operators.
The firm takes a position, builds the commercial engine alongside management, and stays until the business can carry itself.

Who we are
Capital and the ability to deploy it, arriving together.
Van Marcke Scott & Muñoz Investments was built on a plain observation. Money and the ability to use it almost never arrive at the same time. Companies are funded by people who cannot help them execute, and advised by people with nothing riding on the result.
The firm invests as a principal. It takes a position, builds the commercial engine alongside management and stays until the business can carry itself. It holds for as long as the company requires rather than as long as a fund life permits, and it reaches a decision in weeks.
Its principals are operators. They have founded, run, rebuilt and sold companies across consumer, healthcare, technology and mobility, in Europe and in Latin America, and they bring that experience directly into the businesses the firm backs.

Our position
It is faster to say what the firm is not.
Not an agency
The firm does not sell hours, retainers or deliverables. Its return comes from the value of the company, not from an invoice.
Not a passive investor
The firm does not take a position and then wait for a quarterly report. It is inside the business from the first week, on the work that decides whether the position was right.
Not an intermediary
The firm is not paid to make an introduction. Its network is opened because it is already exposed to whether the company succeeds.
Whatever the firm recommends, the firm carries the consequence of it. That single fact changes every conversation we have with a management team.
Sectors
Ground the firm has already covered.
Between them, the principals have founded, operated, advised or backed companies in each of these areas. It is not a statement of interest. It is a record of where the experience already sits.
Digital commerce
Direct to consumer and marketplace businesses, from first sale to scale.
Healthcare services
Regulated care and clinical services, where compliance and demand have to be solved together.
Wellness and retail
Consumer brands in wellness and pet categories, online and through trade.
Travel platforms
Booking, comparison and distribution businesses in a high volume, low margin market.
Education technology
Learning platforms and institutional software, including public sector procurement.
Electric mobility
Vehicles and transport businesses where the hardware and the service model both have to work.
Connected devices
Telemetry and connected hardware, where the recurring revenue sits above the device.
Applied AI
Artificial intelligence built into a working business process, not sold as a demonstration.
